Camillidae is a family of flies, or Diptera. There are three genera(two living; one fossil).
Biology: Adults have been captured in the nests and burrows of various mammals. The biology of Camillidae is very little known. One species has been reared from larvae in the dung of rock hyraxes in Southern Africa (Barraclough, 1992).
